Formation of seperate state is the only hope for the people of telangana and it is the one and only good result for their struggle. On October 2, 1953 Jawaharlal Nehru said when he was alone about the matter of Telangana is "Vishalandhra is an idea bearing a taint of expansionist imperialism".
If we comes to the matter of irrigation of andhra pradesh state
In 1956, 20 lakh acres and in 2004, only 12 acres.
Krishna water share 550 TMC in telangana and 346 TMC in andhra
Net utilisation of Krishna Only in Andhra is 800 TMC
but in telangana is 100 TMC only.
Total utilisation of Krishna river water is of Andhra Pradesh state is 900 TMC

OU Student Venu Gopal Reddy commits Suicide
Venugopal Reddy, an MCA student, set himself ablaze at Osmania University. His body was found in the campus early on Tuesday, police said.
Reddy, a native of Nalgonda district, was a student of Lalita College of Engineering at Uppal in the city.
The JAC also gave a call for a two-day shutdown in Telangana and urged students across the region to boycott examinations.
His suicide triggered protests at the campus with Joint Action Committee (JAC) of students and teachers staging a protest with the body on the campus. The JAC leaders were demanding that the government pay Rs 5 lakh as compensation to his family.
Several doubts are being expressed over the tragic death of K Venugopal Reddy, an MCA student, in the Osmania University campus, demanding that the Centre expedite the process for Telangana state formation. Though nobody had any doubt over the commitment of Venugopal for Telangana, his sudden death has raised many an eyebrow. However, nobody, including the police, dared to raise the issue fearing strong reaction from students. First of all, Venugopal did not give any prior indication to any of his friends or brothers about his intention to commit suicide. Secondly, nobody knew from where he procured kerosene. It is also a mystery as to why he had gone to the Tagore Auditorium area where not a soul moves in that dreary night. Moreover, the body was found in bushes, rather than on the road. There was a talk in hush tone as to why he had chosen the place, rather than the Arts College building where he would have highlighted the Telangana issue more. In fact, one is comparing Venugopal’s death with that of Srikantha Chary who immolated himself in front of everyone at LB Nagar a few weeks ago. The police did not utter a word, but booked the case as a suspicious death.
